Our story

Why we draw Black beauty.

A hand-drawn Black beauty portrait from the VZeros Digital coloring book collection

Hi — I'm the person behind VZeros Digital. We're a small, independent studio (really: a family and a drawing tablet), not a publishing house.

This started with a simple, annoying experience. Looking for a coloring book as a gift, I went through shelf after shelf of adult coloring titles and barely found a single face with our features. Where there were Black characters, the hair was usually straight hair with volume added, and the pages felt like an afterthought rather than a celebration.

So we drew our own. Coils and locs with actual direction. Headwraps. Fuller lips and softer eyes. Aunties, sisters, dreamers, everyday queens — the people we grew up around, drawn with enough care that colouring them feels like paying attention to someone.

Every page is hand-drawn, then exported at 300 dpi in both A4 and US Letter so it prints properly at home and imports cleanly into Procreate or GoodNotes. We keep the prices low on purpose — a few dollars, not a few tens — because this is meant to be a small daily ritual, not a collector's item.

What we won't do: invent reviews, fake download counters, or pretend to be bigger than we are. The ratings on this site come only from buyers we can verify against a real order. Volume I is free so you can judge the work yourself before spending anything.

If a page ever prints badly, or a download link misbehaves, write to me directly at hello@vzerosdigital.com — a human reads it.
